UX and Design Experience

My career began focused in digital graphic design, but quickly shifted into User Experience once I discovered the emerging field. I hadn't had much exposure to what UX truly was (my second year out of college), as it was not as mainstream in the industry at the time. I can vividly remember my first time observing a usability test live in a lab with our end users. It was in that one moment that I realized the power and value of making sure what you spend your time creating actually delivers the outcomes and JOY it was meant to. I've been hooked ever since.

Before moving into leadership focused roles, I have had the privilege of playing in UX and UI individual contributor roles for 9+ years working with several Fortune 500 companies. The digital experiences I have influenced serve a wide range of audiences that include consumers, B2B and employee experiences. Though I can not share with you the final results of that work publicly, I have experience leading discovery work and taking UX and Design processes and outputs from start to finish. This includes conducting my own research and validation efforts with usability testing activities and documenting user stories with hand offs to development partners.
